I built the DML Panther straight out of the box, and did not use any
aftermarket products. The Zimmermit was done using, Zimm-it-Rite (pretty forgiving stuff). I used the "Tamiya method"
to make the pattern. I used an old biology kit spatula to scribe the lines-a ruler just didn't work for me,
as it made the lines too thick.
I've read some criticisms of DML's use of suspension arms molded onto
the lower hulls of their armor kits, but I don't see what the fuss is. The suspension was a snap to assemble and there
wasn't any fiddling about with trying to align everything.
I also thought the roadwheels, drive sprockets and idler wheels were
superbly detailed.
